Voronezh oblast is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). It was established on June 13, 1934.
The coin features the image of the coat of arms of the Voronezh Region. The inscriptions along the rim: above - "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION), below - "ВОРОНЕЖСКАЯ ОБЛАСТЬ" (VORONEZH REGION).
